Our speaker: Steve Elliott, Chief Magistrate of the Summit County Probate Court, will be the guest speaker at our April 7, 2026 general membership luncheon at Guy's Party Center. Elliott will present Probate 101, a program offering information on the probate process including wills and estate administration, the importance of powers of attorney, transfer on death designations, beneficiaries, payable upon death accounts and more.

Fundraiser Success

The Scholarship Committee is excited to inform you that our Double Good Popcorn sale this past November raised $4,396.00. Our 50% payment was $2,198.00. Thank you to all who sold and/or purchased popcorn. Thanks also to those of you who gave a donation towards this endeavor.

Our next good news is about the Acme Community Cash Back Program which ended on February 15th. As of February 11th, as I type this report, we have received $2,339.92 in receipts from you, friends and family members. The next newsletter will update you on our final total and how much we received from the 5% cash back program.

SCRTA Scholarships

Students have started turning in their scholarship applications early this year utilizing the application form on our new website. School Counselors across the Summit County area have also received the forms to distribute to students. Please be aware that your grandchildren, nieces, and nephews may also apply. Please keep the date of April 6, 2026 in your memory since it is the absolute final date that we will accept applications.
