The SCRTA Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the following five students as scholarship recipients for 2026. Each will receive a $1500 award.

Thomas Gaffney Hoban High School

Annabel Green, Hudson High School

Grace Lance, Springfield High School

Sydney Peterson, Green High School

Jahzara Semper-Mitchell, Buchtel High School

The Summit County Retried Teachers Association awarded four $1500 college scholarships to recent high school graduates at our June 3rd luncheon. All four students are planning careers in teaching. They are:

  • LeKhai Baity, University of Akron

  • Samara Hampton, University of Akron
